Going to Vinh on Sunday?  If you are thinking of going to Vinh City to support the team then there are a couple of ways you can get there.  Train : To arrive in Vinh in time for the 17:00 kick off on Sunday you will need to catch either the SE6 or SE8 Re-Unification Express.  The train times are : SE6 Depart HCM (Saturday) 09:00 Arrive Vinh (Sunday) 13:20

SE8 Depart HCM (Saturday) 06:00 Arrive Vinh (Sunday) 09:19  The trip takes approximately 25 hours.  Prices vary and current information can be found via the Vietnam Railways Website

You could go by bus.  This journey takes approximately 31 hours.  There are no direct buses between HCM and Vinh.  You will need to change buses in Vũng Tàu.  There are many companies to choose from.  You would probably need to leave HCM on Friday night to have any chance of making the game!!

You could fly.  Flights between HCM and Vinh take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes!!  The airport is pretty close to the city and stadium so if you chose this option you should easily make the 21:10 flight (BL555) from Vinh to HCM after the game.

A controversial penalty decision in first half stoppage time helped de-rail City in a frustrating away trip to Quảng Nam FC.  City eventually going down 0-2.  Both goals coming from the boot of ex-Hà Nội striker Samson who has been 'lent' to Quảng Nam as they try to climb clear of the drop zone.  Both Quảng Nam and Hà Nội are owned by the same person who is using his teams strategically to ensure Hà Nội win the Championship.  A toothless VFF is allowing this corrupt practice.   The result means that City end Week 20 in second place, five points behind Championship rivals Hà Nội FC with only 6 games left to play.

The club has been fined đ15,000,000 for abusive language directed toward the referee during the second half of Friday's 2-2 home draw against Championship rivals Hà Nội FC.  The fine has overshadowed what was a fantastic team performance played in front of a generally well behaved attendance.
