City and SHB Đà Nẵng played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the SVĐ Thống Nhất tonight in a game that saw three goals in the final five minutes of play.  City thought back from 0-1 to score in the 88th minute through Trần Thanh Bình and the 91st minute through Amido Baldé to lead 2-1.  A 93rd minute goal was to deny City all three points.

City welcome SHB Đà Nẵng to the SVĐ Thống Nhất tonight in Week 7 of the LS 2020 V-League 1 season.  City currently occupy top spot whilst our visitors find themselves sitting in 10th.  Whilst being six points behind City, our visitors come on the back of an impressive 3-1 home victory over Hoàng Anh Gia Lai in Week 6.

Tickets are available for purchase from the Ticket Office outside Block A.  Buy early to avoid any last minute congestion and remember

City's young defender Tiêu Exal has been called into the Provisional National U20 squad.  This call up follows on from Nguyễn Trung Thành's earlier call up into the U19 squad.  Both players will undoubtedly benefit from the experience and www.hcmcfc.net congratulates both players for their recognition.

The club has released details of City's remaining V-League 1 games for Phase One.  There is a change to the Kick Off time for all remaining HOME games.  The new time is now 19:15 and starts from Week 7 when we entertain SHB Đà Nẵng on Monday 29th June.

City scored three times for the second game running as they overcame league leaders Sông Lam Nghệ An 3-1 on their own patch.  Goals from Văn Thành, Công Phượng and Amido Baldé helped sent City back to the summit of the V-League Table.

Hours before tonight's kick off against Viettel FC it was announced by the club that midfielder Alex Lima was to leave the club.  The official announcement referred to family reasons for the mutual termination of Alex's contract.  Whilst at the club Alex made three appearances and had all the hallmarks of being a quality signing for City.  www.hcmcfc.net would like to wish Alex and his family all the very best.

A welcome sight for City fans.  After nearly six months out injured, midfielder Vũ Quang Nam today returned to the City squad for his first training session back.  www.hcmcfc.net would like to welcome Quang Nam back and look forward to seeing him on the pitch.

It is being reported widely on social media that City midfielder Ngô Hoàng Thịnh has penned a new three year contract.  No official news from the club as yet.

City lost 0-1 in the 'City Derby' to rivals Sài Gòn FC at the SVĐ Thống Nhất.  City failed to register a shot on target during the 90 minutes and the result sees City slip to 6th place.  One point behind the current league leaders.

City U19’s have qualified for the next stage of the National U19 Championships after beating Bình Phước 5-2. The other game in City's Group between Khánh Hòa and HAGL 2 ended 3-3.

Ticket details have been released by the club for Friday night's 'Derby' against city rivals Sài Gòn FC.  Tickets are available from the office at 115 Pasteur, Phường 6, Quận 3, TPHCM until 17:00 on Thursday 11th June.  They are also available from the Ticket Office situated outside Block A at the stadium between 09:00 on Thursday 11th and kick off on Friday.  Supporters are advised to buy their tickets early to avoid any last minute queues at the stadium.

City had to settle for a point away to Hải Phòng FC in Week 3 of the LS 2020 V-League 1 season.  Played in scorching heat, City will be the happier of the two teams after securing both a clean sheet and a point. A point which, after other results, maintains City's place at the summit of the V-League 1 table.

Hải Phòng FC have received confirmation from the Local Government that they will be able to sell tickets for the game against City tomorrow.  Tickets will go on sale at 08:00 from the ticket office at the SVĐ Lạch Tray

The Club today announced that striker Công Phượng would not be travelling with the team as they prepare for Friday's game against Hải Phòng FC.  Chairman Nguyễn Hữu Thắng explained that the reason was to allow the striker to marry his girlfriend Tô Ngọc Viên Minh.  Everyone at www.hcmcfc.net wishes the happy couple all the best for the future.

City have be drawn away to Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu in the Quarter Final of the 2020 Bamboo Airways National Cup.  No actual date for the tie has been released but the tie is expected to be played during August.  What ever the date, the game at the Sân vận động Bà Rịa will kick off at 17:00.
