After joining City from his home town of Đồng Tháp in 2015, the diminutive Phạm Công Hiển was to become a regular in the City line-up, making his debut in the 3-1 home victory over Bình Phươc in Week 7 of the 2015 Season. Công Hiển was to become an instrumental part of the City squad that was to win the V-League 2 Title in 2016 scoring three times. His first City gaol coming ironically against the same team he had made his debut against the previous season - Bình Phươc. Further irony being that this game also ended 3-1 in City’s favour and was once again in Week 7.
2017 however saw the midfielder being released by City, joining XM Tây Ninh in V-League 2 where he was to make 11 appearances in total. His Tây Ninh debut coming on 18th February 2017 against Clb đá Huế in a game that also featured current winger Vũ Quang Nam and ex-City midfielder Võ Lý.
2018 and Công Hiển was to return to City where he was to establish himself becoming an ever present in the City squad. His exciting wing play and fast moving legs has earned him the nickname “dancing feet’ as he mesmerises his opponents with his blur like movements.
